Discord Bot — Terms of Service

1. What This Bot Does

The Assemble Discord Bot connects your Discord account to the Assemble app, letting you coordinate gaming sessions with your squad directly from Discord. Features may include creating and joining sessions, receiving session notifications, and syncing availability status between Discord and Assemble.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By adding the Assemble Discord Bot to your server or authorizing it via Discord OAuth2, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy below. If you don't agree, remove the bot from your server and revoke its access in your Discord settings (Settings → Authorized Apps).

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the bot. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have a parent or guardian's consent.

4. Your Responsibilities

  • Use the bot for its intended purpose: coordinating gaming sessions.
  • Don't abuse, spam, or exploit the bot's commands or notification features.
  • Don't use the bot to harass other users or violate Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.
  • Server administrators are responsible for how the bot is configured within their server.

5. Availability and Changes

The bot is provided "as is." We may modify, suspend, or discontinue it at any time without notice. We'll make reasonable efforts to communicate breaking changes, but we don't guarantee uptime or uninterrupted service.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Assemble and its creators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the bot. Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us for use of the bot (which is zero if you're on a free tier).

7. Termination

We may restrict or revoke your access to the bot at any time for violations of these terms. You may stop using the bot at any time by removing it from your server and revoking its authorization in your Discord settings.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Poland.
